While the Intermediate Unit was at Glen Helen, the Upper and Primary Units had a chance to spend some time together. They cooked, and crafted, and played games. As a part of McGuffey’s partners program, these two groups learn from and teach one another.
In the photos, the kids are playing “Le facteur n’est pas passe” (the mailman has not come yet), a French version of “Duck, Duck, Goose.” It is also a song that says the days of the week, which is a fun way to learn, play, and remember. Many parents reports their littlest students walk around the house singing in French!
While some were away on an amazing adventure, our oldest and youngest were strengthening the bonds that help make McGuffey their home away from.
