Last week Middle School students worked on an assignment about their summer reading choice book. The assignment included designing a cover and writing a summary of the book. The work in class focused on using italics for the title of the book, when not to use italics, when to use “based on”, and why one would use their own illustration instead of one from the book itself.
Pretty great work for the first few days of school with a new teacher.
