On Wednesday, October 12, 2011, the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students, along with Susan and Marcia, were guests at the Miami University’s Farmer School of Business. We were given a tour of this incredible building. The architecture is stunning and the technology innovations are incredible. One of the most interesting parts of the tour was a stop at the Stock Market Ticker. Since all of the students are participating in the Stock Market Game, it was great for them to be able to watch and see how quickly the price of stocks change. Professor Steve Wyatt took time from his busy schedule to talk with the students about how they are playing the game and why they purchase or sell certain stocks.
