Valentine’s Day is on Tuesday, February 14th! McGuffey will be celebrating in several ways.
We will have a valentine exchange on Tuesday, 2/14. (However, Pre-Primary will exchange valentines on Wednesday, 2/15, when all students are in attendance.) This is a voluntary exchange, and no one is required to participate. However, if you choose to participate, in the spirit of kindness, we ask that you give valentines to everyone in your class (Pre-Primary, Primary, Intermediate, or Upper). As this is a holiday about love, we don’t want anyone to have any hurt feelings!
You can find the list of students under the “Parents” tab of the website or by clicking here: Valentine List. To ensure privacy, this list is password protected. It is the same password that you use to access the directory. If you need a reminder of this password, please contact Liz or Wendy.
We will also be having a school spaghetti lunch with red sauce to celebrate the holiday on Tuesday, 2/14. This lunch is being provided by the staff. Although you will not need to pack a lunch for your child that day, please pack a snack for first recess and a drink.
