Thanks to the parents’ help, we tallied the minutes and after only three days, the school has gotten to 5,492 minutes toward the 20,000 minute goal. By World Read Aloud Day on March 5, the staff will dress as their favorite book character if the students reach their goal.

Today, grades 4-8 walked to the library. They spent time with the librarian learning about everything the library has to offer, from books to music downloads. Afterwards, they had time to look around and find books that interested them. Thank you to the Lane Library for hosting us!

The gnomes continue to move about the rooms, waiting to be found and watching over reading. We have a list of surprise readers for the World Read Aloud Day. We can’t wait for the kids to see who’s coming!
