Primary students have been sketching in their sketchbooks during art class. The older students have been learning some techniques to make their drawings look more realistic. Many students are under the impressions that they can’t draw, so Liz teaches simple techniques that help break down an object in simple geometric shapes. Connect the shapes, and suddenly a realistic picture emerges! In later years, students will build on these skills, adding refinements and details.
