Staging for Willy Wonka, Jr. is underway. Now that music and lines have been learned and memorized, each student is learning where they move on stage and when. McGuffey arranged to have groups of students rehearse at the theater at The Oxford Community Arts Center on a few Mondays in March. Taking advantage of smaller groups having their first go at staging has been a boon in terms of confidence for our performers. In two weeks, we will have dress rehearsals at the Arts Center complete with sets and props. In the meantime, rehearsals will be moving outdoors at school to take advantage of both the better weather and space.
We’ll see you on March 25th, 26th, and 28th at the Oxford Community Arts Center for the shows! More information about tickets will be coming soon.
