Recess is more than fun—studies show that success at school is heightened by activities outside. At McGuffey, we have a long standing tradition of having outdoor recess all year round. The magic that occurs when multi aged children are given sunshine and free time to play is priceless.
We encourage parents to watch the weather report with their children each morning and prepare for these activities by sending the proper clothing. We have been spoiled by the weather lately, but coats, hats, gloves and boots are needed soon!
