Preschool playground!
The rain finally passed and we were able to have Preschool Playground yesterday! It was a day to explore clay of all kinds—Play-Doh, Moon Sand, and air-dry clay. We shaped and squeezed, and pressed all morning!
Preschool Playground is a free program with activities and play opportunities for children ages 1-6 and their parents. It is held from 9:30–11:30am at the McGuffey Foundation School playground. Siblings ages 8 and under are also welcome. Visit the web page for the weekly activity schedule and information on weather-related cancellations.

Preschool Playground
McGuffey’s Preschool Playground is a free program that is open to the community and is an opportunity for children to come together for socialization, play, and informal learning. It is held every Monday on McGuffey Montessori School’s main playground from 10:00am-12:00pm, June through the first Monday in August (not the week of July 4). Check the public calendar for specific dates.
Children ages six and under will explore opportunities including a large sandbox, playhouse, sports field, climbing and play structures, riding vehicles, athletic equipment, and a basketball court. Art activities will be provided in the spacious shaded picnic shelter. Parents are encouraged to bring drinks and snacks. Siblings ages nine and under are also welcome.
There is no fee, but a parent or guardian must be present with their child during their stay.
Any weather-related cancellations will be posted on McGuffey’s home page, so check in if it looks like it might rain.
