The Upper Unit at McGuffey had the privilege to speak with the Deputy Regional Director (Europe) of the Diplomatic Security Service of the U.S. State Department. He then connected us with the Regional Security Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Montenegro who we spoke to, via Skype, along with a Montenegrin citizen.
We are preparing our resolution to present at the OMUN (Ohio Model United Nations) in Columbus. We have been able to enhance our research by excellent assistance from the State Department in Washington. The sixth grade students will represent Montenegro as delegates to the UN in the simulation that will involve approximately 1,200 students from all over Ohio in March.
