By now, all parents should have received the November ‘refrigerator door’ calendar. Here are some highlights:
Tuesday November 1 – Annual parents meeting at 7:00 PM at Patterson’s Café. This is required by our by-laws. It is a time for us to report our financial status, and operational goals and objectives for the coming year.
We will be collecting canned goods, dry goods and non perishable items for the Oxford Choice Pantry from November 1 – November 18. We hope to collect more than 300 pound for the benefit of the hungry in our community. More details to follow.
Beginning on November 3rd, we are going to Phillips Gymnasium at Miami University for Physical Education on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes will be taught by student teachers from the University. Sneakers and shorts are okay, but not required. Transportation is provided by bus.
Sunday November 6 – Remember to turn your clocks back in the wee hours of the morning.
Friday November 11– is Veterans’ Day, but WE DO HAVE SCHOOL that day.
Saturday November 12– is the first Cloud Club for the 5th and 6th graders. The show is ‘Wicked’ at the Arnoff Center in Cincinnati. More info will follow soon.
Wednesday through Friday, November 23-25 is our Thanksgiving break.
And looking even farther ahead, we will be offering January Day Camp for the first two weeks of January. You can expect information to arrive about that in about two weeks.
