Morning Meditation

Upper Elementary students begin every day with a meditation using Mindful Music. Our students know and experience the benefits of meditation: supported emotional health, enhanced self-awareness, longer attention span, and reduced anxiety. Being a tween can be tricky but as we peek at students preparing for meditation in the pictures above, these students have a leg up navigating their day. 

At McGuffey, we use Mindful Music, a program that combines prompts with three minutes of music from different genres.
