On Monday, we will begin to have Indoor Lunch every day until April Fools day. We will still have outdoor recess mid morning and after lunch unless it is raining or deemed too cold to be outside. We’ll stay aware of the temps and windchill factor and keep children off the playground on those coldest of days.
Please start to remind kids to be mindful of the weather and choose appropriate clothing for outdoor play. Dressing in layers is great but make sure that every item of clothing that may be removed is marked with the child’s name. Later on, when weather is below freezing, I usually ask kids to wear a coat, hat and mittens. We do go out to play in the snow so boots are essential on those days.
