McGuffey students are beginning to make printing blocks for the banners we make and lend to the Empty Bowls event. Each student is making a simple design that depicts either love, peace, friendship or family. They will print the design on colorful fabric banners that will be used to set the atmosphere for a wonderful community meal.
Empty Bowls will be held on Saturday, November 5th from 11:00am – 1:30pm at the Oxford United Methodist Church. Proceeds from the events will be donated to the Oxford Community Choice Pantry to support its effort to provide food to local families in need. We’ll keep you posted as details emerge.
