HOBY students donate time to McGuffey

On June 18th we were visited by students from HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership). The Women’s Club of Oxford brought this group to town, where they stayed at Miami University for the weekend to service local churches, schools and senior adults. During their time at McGuffey, they constructed our butterfly garden frame and located it outside of the science room windows. They filled it with dirt and plantings to further our study of the monarch butterfly and indigenous plants.

Thank you so much to HOBY for the gift of your time!
