In the Primary class with Carla and Kris this week, the students have been making the geometric decanomial. This is a giant square and is laid out in bead bars. The presentation for this work falls into categories: numeric, geometric, and algebraic. Doing the decanomial is similar to doing giant multiplication or division lessons.
Also this week the students have been very busy getting ready for their presentation this coming Monday night. The students finished up their reports and they are now working on their projects to all go along with the First Great Lesson.
