Were your children extra worn out Thursday night? Our field trip to Hueston Woods was a full day of activities for the McGuffey kids. Upon arrival, the students were allowed to wade in the lake and make use of the play structure while activities were prepared. Students then competed in challenging but fun field games. These games included the fast paced Bucket Brigade, the squeal inducing Parachute Ball Bounce, Elephant Walk, and several others. All events challenged the students to work together and develop strategies. Lunch, art activities and plenty of free play followed the field events.
Special thanks to Christyanne Coffman for volunteering on this exciting day. I suspect she was a little extra worn out as well! We appreciated her time and energy, which helped make this field trip a success.
