Kate Berry
Kate runs ex day Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is studying Speech Pathology and Audiology at Miami University. Kate enjoys singing, playing instruments, and reading.

Judith Bolenbaugh
Judith staffs Early Care on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Judith has a degree from Miami University and a Master of Library and Information Science from University of Kentucky. Judith’s son is a junior at Butler Tech and her daughter will be a freshman at Talawanda High School. Judith began her involvement at McGuffey in 2008 when her son started Kindergarten here and we’re happy to have her continue even now that her two children have graduated.

Emily Brosier
Emily Brosier is a writer, crafter, and reproductive doula, born and raised in Oxford, Ohio. Emily is a proud McGuffey and Talawanda alumna, and she earned her B.A. in English, along with her B.A. in Women’s Studies and Creative Writing from Wittenberg University in December of 2020. In the same year, Emily pursued her birth doula training from DONA International. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her two cats, Hummus and Blanket, and making things: art, food, and connections with people. 

Anastasia Lavrinovich
Anastasia helps run our ex-day program on Wednesdays and Fridays. She is currently a junior at the McGuffey High School where her favorite subjects are Russian Language and English

Hayley Schweitzer
Hayley is the Primary Afternoon Assistant and teaches Kindermusik to PK1, PK2, and Kindergarten. Hayley has a B.A. from Miami University in Music Education with a minor in Creative Writing. She is also Kindermusik certified, has been teaching local Kindermusik classes and she teaches voice lessons. In addition to volunteer work with children, Hayley worked at Mini University for two years before coming to McGuffey in the fall of 2019.

Angela Trubçeac
Angela staffs Ex Day on Wednesday and Friday. Angela completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history, social studies, and education before the collapse of the USSR, at Moldova State University. She enjoys the interplay of history and peace education, especially making history relevant to daily life. She is a proud parent of 2 sons—Andrei, a peacebuilder and Darius, a student at Talawanda High School. Angela likes crocheting, gardening, traveling, reading, and watching history documentaries.

Olivia Weisbrodt
Olivia staffs Early Care on Thursdays and Fridays. She is currently majoring in Primary Education and minoring in Inclusive Special Education at Miami University, and is set to receive a dual licensure in those fields of study. Olivia enjoy hanging out with my family, hiking, and watching college football!
