Cell biology

They upper unit has been continuing their unit on cell biology, microscopy and genetics. The students have been conducting experiments on eggs, as an example cell, to see what passes through the cell membrane and what does not. These experiments will be summarized on posters and presented to other students.

The upper unit also visited Miami Univeristy’s microscopy lab where Richard Edelman allowed them to use the electron microscopes. Students will begin learning more about genetics by the end of the month.
