Many, if not all of you, saw the McGuffey kids on-stage at the Phantom Tollbooth, but few got to see what happens backstage. Here are some pictures of the kids preparing and waiting for their entrances. Staff and parents are on-hand to help by giving cues, calming nerves and entertaining. Ingrid, our art teacher, brought the latch hook rug project and sketchbooks for kids to work on. Quiet card games were played and there were lots of hugs and smiles. Waiting patiently is challenging for all of us and the musical is a fun way to start learning this important life lesson.
