A Different Kind of Screen Time and Outside Fun

6/7 Art students created two-color designs that they are now silkscreening onto folded paper cards. It takes a bit of strength and a whole lot of teamwork. Many thanks to Darien’s parents, Darren Ridenour and Jacquee, for guiding us through the process.

McGuffey loves to give kids ample time to go outside during recess and our Extended Day program. It’s a part of the day that gives children needed unstructured time to get exercise, breath fresh air, use their ample imagination and interact positively with kids of various age groupings.

We hated staying in so much this week so want to post some fun outside pictures from weeks before. Today’s warmer weather and snow gave us extra recess. Always make sure they dress for the weather!
